SAS Viya to Informix ODBC connectivity with unix ODBC

I am looking for some help connecting to Avaya CMS dataserver ( Informix 12.10FC2) . our Viya installation is on redhat 7 and informix is on another linux flavour .

 

so far I have been able the following 

  - install CSDK 4.50 FC3 

  - create all required environment variables 

 - I am able to connect to informix with dchebaccess utility 

but unable to connect using unixodbc utility  isql  (Error server is not listed as a dbserver name in sqlhosts.er) . 

I have used dltest to verify the iclit09b.so is loaded successfully.

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated
