Hi,

I am trying to install SAS Viya 3.5 on Windows 2012 R2 standalone server for learning purpose. As it is a standalone server (Not required any network authentication) How can I perform installation without configuring kerberos. I did the LDAP configuration using Apache DS.

Requesting help.

Thanks and Regards,

Shrikant Suvarnkar

I believe there isn't. Just like how LDAP is must for full deployment I think Kerberos is required for deployment on windows. You can always email support@sas.com for official confirmation from SAS technical support team.

Hi Shrikant,

In my view its a must for full viya deployment. I don't see any document that skips it.

For programming only environment local accounts are supported.
