Hi Guys,

Have you  encountered an issue in SAS Studio 3.6 using Google Chrome wherein SAS Studio 3.6 Auto signed-out then auto signed-in?

After the auto sign-in all your task is gone. Seems in IE this is not an issue as so far did not encounter yet the auto signed-out/signed-in.

One major issue here is that the SAS process for the user is not getting flushed out in the compute server

Thanks!

Are you using this version of Chrome - there appear to be some issues with it:

Just now saw that someone else had sent you an info about the Chrome version already 🙂

Do you have the option to upgrade Chrome?

Hi there,

Are you using SAS Studio Single User, Mid-Tier or Basic?

There are some known issues with Chrome version 55 and SAS Studio 3.6.

What version of Chrome are you using?

Thanks

Anja

Thanks Guys,

Hi Anja,

We are using SAS Studio 3.6 Mid-Tier.

Google Chrome version is 55.0.2883.75 m

Currently I am not seeing an option to upgrade as we are in a bank setup. Process and the security here is very tight. 😞

Would you know if there are any SAS Notes about the Chrome issue? I have checked as well but found nothing.

Thanks alot!

Thanks alot

We tried to disabled below settings in Google Chrome:

Offline Auto-Reload Mode
Only Auto-Reload Visible Tab
Automatic tab discarding

Have monitored the Google Chrome task Manager, SAS Studio's process priority is set to Low

So far, the issue is not being encountered yet.. Hopefully the above resolves the issue

Hi there,

there is a SAS Note which does not cover what you reported, but gives an overview of

some of the behavior SAS Studio and Chrome show.  Take a look at

Problem Note 59549: The SAS® Studio 3.6 editor window displays incorrect mouse behavior with Google ...

The last 2 digits of your Chrome version are different, however, there is a general problem

with Chrome 55.0.xxxx . SAS 9.4 M5 will take care of it. Maintenance release M5 for SAS 9.4

will be released later this year.

Tech Sup might have some more information for you.

Thanks

Anja
