Hi Everyone,

How do we know that our current SAS Connections are encrypted or not?

Application configuration:

SAS 9.4

OS: LINUX with mid tier server

For the Metadata Server you can check the NETENCRALG and CEL settings in sasv9.cfg and sasv9_usermods.cfg:

$ pwd
/opt/sas/config/Lev1/SASMeta/MetadataServer
$ grep -i 'netencralg\|cel' sasv9.cfg
-netencralg "AES"
-objectserverparms "cel=everything protocol=bridge ...

For the other servers this is set in SAS Management Console in the connection properties for the server.
