Hi folks,

A customer are requesting to integrate SAS 9.4 M6 with Entrust for authentication. I understand in this case Entrust works as any other LDAP, so will be no problem to use it as authentication for SAS. Is it correct? It's possible to use Entrust with SAS without any problem? I tried to find any documentation but I couldn't find it.

Regards,

@MariaD ,

I do not see any problems using Entrust PAM modules in /etc/pam.d/sasauth file, but two-factor authentication could be a tricky one. If you want to do two-factor authentication for EG, you have to use IWA/GSSAPI authentication and perform the two-factor authentication on your Windows client.

@MariaD ,

What kind of integration do you want to do? Just simple authentication using PAM modules?

Yes, possibly adding two factor authentication on the future.
