Hi SAS admins,
I saw in the December SAS Learning Report a new practice exam for SAS Platform Administration (PE-250P) is now available through Pearson VUE starting Dec. 16.
The practice exam replicates the testing environment a candidate experiences while taking the actual exam and includes 70 multiple choice items. The exam fee is $55.
Check out the December SAS Learning Report that also contains other learning tips and information and sign up to get it each month if you don't already... http://www.sas.com/en_us/news/e-newsletters/training/2016/december/sas-learning-report.html
Kind Regards,

Thanks for the info Michelle!! It is informative.
Looks like there are practice exams made available both from SAS and Pearson end.
They have a note added as below :
" Please note there are several differences between the practice exams purchased through SAS and the practice exams purchased through Pearson VUE"
Will this be of any difference , when it comes to be from Pearson VUE and not from SAS.

Happy to share Shriram.
I'm not familiar with the differences, if any. @ShelleySessoms, could you please follow up Shriram's inquiry, maybe someone from the SAS Certification team could assist.
Kind Regards,
Michelle
Hi @sram4790 and @MichelleHomes,
I have forwarded this thread to the Certification team and asked someone to jump in and provide assistance.
Thanks!
Shelley
When we talk about the differences between a practice exam delivered by SAS and a practice exam delivered by Pearson VUE, we are refering to the capibilities of the platform used to deliver the exam. Delivering on Pearson VUE allows us to use the exact same platform ("test engine", in our lingo) that we use on the live exams, so the practice exams look and feel the same as the live exam, whereas the SAS platform practice exams were somewhat different. In both cases, SAS creates the content for practice and live exams. Also, from our web page, please note the following for Pearson delivered practice exams:
Thanks Mark, Shelley & Michelle.
Appreciate your support !!
