Hello,

We are getting the below error while running the SAS DI jobs. Please advise?

ERROR: CLI cursor fetch error: [SAS][ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver]Unexpected Network Error. ErrNum = 10060
ERROR: CLI close cursor error: [SAS][ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver]Invalid transaction state.

Database: SQL server

This looks like the ODBC driver is having trouble communicating with the SQL server rather than an issue with the SAS software.

Thanks @gwootton

What we need to check related to ODBC? Most of time job executed without any issue. However some time we are getting this kind of error.

This is not a SAS problem, please check the following note: @http://knowledgebase.progress.com/articles/Article/000038104

I would engage your network admin to review communication between the SQL server and ODBC client hosts.
