On the pages 17 and 18 you can see the steps to configure it, which involves to create krb5.keytab file and some variables on the ssh_config file, such as GSSAPIDelegateCredentials=yes.

Hello @japsas100,

that is a bit of a hard one, very general. We don't know much about your HW, SW and general deployment. Plus iwhat you are asking here would take quite a lot of time. For that purpose, I would rather recommend you to request support from SAS Technical Support or a SAS Consultant (or a trusted SAS Partner).

But let me give you some bits of  practical highlights, let see if they can help you a bit:

  • You got the right document. The first thing you need to do are:
    • to get a Hadoop specialist available for you,
    • and get the Pre-requisites ready. On your link, the second chapter, page 13. All of them, and better not to continue until they are 100% OK. Good pre-requisites will give you more than 50% of success options. Check if you need the optional configuration on the Chapter 4.
  • Once you got the pre-requisites in place, including the Hadoop cluster, and all fo them can be independently validated (such as the SSH trusted connections and Kerberized trust).
