Good day

We have a Test and PROD environment for our Infomap. When a change is requested, we export the Infomap (.spk) from PROD and import it into the Test environment, make the changes and then get the user to test and signoff. The amended Infomap is then promoted to PROD.

We now have a situation where there are rapid changes (specifically linked to model scoring) that have to be made, so we make those changes (adding or removing columns from the Model Score table) in PROD.

The isse is that we could have another change in Test and if we promote the infomap from Test to PROD, the model changes we made in PROD will be lost.

Any ideas as to how we can manage these changes (sometimes a change is in Test for up to 2 weeks or more) so that we don't overwrite changes, thereby losing the changes?

When you have a process that is in so much flux, I'd do all the processing in the test environment and only promote to prod once the situation has sufficiently stabilized.
