Hi Community,

Do you know if there is a way to get a list of error messages from Viya services, over the last 24h. That is, in the same way as you can see in the log monitoring tab in Environment Manager, but as a list for further processing. In order to do text analysis, e.g finding repetetive patterns, sending alert notifications on specific messages etc.

We are using SAS Viya 3.5 running on Linux Rhel 7

Kind Regards

Mattias

Environment Manager's Log tab has a save button that will let you save off the results to a cas table or CSV file.

Thanks! That would work fine, though I was kind of looking for a way of putting that functionality into a program to have it run on a schedule.

I'm afraid I'm not aware of any scheduling functionality in the Log menu. The menu uses the VIYALOGS and VIYALOGS_SOURCES tables in the SystemData CASLIB, but these aren't really designed to be used by anything except the Log menu.
