Sorry to hear you are having trouble with this installation. Given all you've told us, @SASKiwi has the best solution:

 

"I suggest you go back to your university. They are the ones packaging SAS so they should be able to explain how to prepare for an install."

 

We're here to help with issues, but the specific details will need to come from your university.
