Configuring -set mysasfiles option in unix

How can i use the option -set mysasfiles in unix? i've tried to use it like in windows but i have no success.

i'm trying to customize the location of the mysasfiles folder, in windows i just modify the sasv9.cfg adding the -set mysasfiles option and the directory, i tried to do this in unix but it didn't work. how can i do this?
