Hi Folks,

Currently we have a Oracle 11g client installed in our server to connect using SAS Access to Oracle. Now we need to access some database in Oracle 12c too.

My question is, we need to upgrade our Oracle client to 12c and use only the new version to connect to 11g and 12c databases? Or we could have both clients installed and configure at the same time?

Regards,

You can use Oracle 11g client to connect to Oracle 12c database. No need to upgrade Oracle client.
