My suggestions are: Gain hands on experience, use the product. Attend the SAS Visual Analytics Fast Track course and study the user guide very well.   Certification is an assessment of your practical understanding and use of the software to address particular data visualisation and analytic questions. Certification is not an assessment of how well you memorise sample questions.   This topic has been raised before. DamianMcLoughlin, If you right-click inside of the Tree window, but not on a node, you should see the Show diagnostic plots and Show tree overview options. Further, if your mouse has a scroll wheel, you can zoom in and out of the decision tree with the mouse wheel. Hold the shift key and left-click in the Tree window to move the decision tree. Another trick to consider is putting your browser into full screen mode to gain more screen real estate. The keybind for this is typically F11. ... View more

The approach you are currently taking is the only way to  get those values(Cluster) in Exploration.  However, Visual Analytics 7.2 releasing soon early May you will have Exploration and Visual Statistics combined.  What you are asking to do in the next release will be in one UI.  So as you create the clusters you can leverage that in Exploration for visualization and drive filters based on the clusters as well.
