"first" / "last" refer to a subgroup which means ordering. Your code does not browse the data set in an ordered manner (you should have a "by ... " clause in it. Hi,   We are required to intercept certain events related to security (user login/logout, password change etc.) and export custom messages to syslog. We use SAS Environment Manager (2.4): we have created alerts to intercept targeted events and created custom escalation scheme to export event occurence to syslog. But what is exported to syslog does not meet our requirements, messages need to have a custom format. Could anyone suggest a solution for exporting custom messages tot syslog? Browse source dataset by patient_ID and sampling_date. Hi,   I want to use SAS Environment Manager as monitoring tool and activate APM ETL and ACM ETL jobs to gather monitoring data. As per my knowledge the default length for history of this data is 9 days.
