Born in Detroit, grew up in the Twin Cities, served in the Air Force, went to college at Lancaster University in England and the University of Minnesota. SAS programming, including macros and SQL, on OS/390, UNIX and PC platforms. Strictly a coder: I have little or no experience with BI and DI, and only use EG (if required) to write code. I also have experience programming in OS/390 Assembler, writing JCL, PROCS and UNIX shell scripting (I prefer the Korn shell for this). Familiar with VI, ISPF, TSO... My favorite editor is UltraEdit, which I have used since it's inception (I even know what IDM stands for ;))
