Hi, I am new to Forecast Studio and I am asked to add a new Stored Process into Forecast Studio. Prior to this, there were already a few Stored Process configured in FOrecast Studio by another team and all i need is just to mimic those settings. What I did was to register a new stored process via SAS Management Console with the same exact path as those and granting the same exact authorization.   I then check out at Forecast Studio Stored Process page. My newly registered stored process is not displayed. I tried to restart Full SAS Services. Still no luck. I am now stuck with this issue for 1 whole day and still no clue of what's missing from configuring.   For this, May I know if anyone can assist on adding a new Stored Process into Forecast Studio? ... Hi. I am trying to create a new Environment using SAS Forecast Project Manager. Prior to Environment creation, I ensure the physical folder is created granted with correct permission(775) and tied to AD group in Linux OS. Hi there,   When I trigger stored process from SAS Enterprise Case Management, I am getting this error intermittently : STP: The Request Init Stored Process failed.   I did contact SAS Technical Support about this and I did configuration based on the following URL: http://support.sas.com/kb/61/325.html   What I did is to put in fully qualified domain into the mentioned config file. Then, restarted full SAS services.   However, this turns out doesn't work and I am still getting this error intermittently, as this error comes and goes anytime. I did inform SAS TS about this but it is weekend now.....   Is there anyone that can further advise on this? This is taking too long time as I will need to present to my client with this system in 2 more days.   Hopefully you can advise me on this.   Appreciate that.  ... View more

Hi there. I am a SAS Developer that deal with BASE SAS Programming and SAS Enterprise Case Management.   At the moment, I want to trigger a stored process code that only does Proc Sql to delete data from database. However, once i integrate this trigger process in ECM XML file, it will prompt  The SAS program did not produce any output.   I then put a dummy command   %stpbegin; %put xxx; data a; b=1; run; %stpend;     Still, it will either redirect me to the result page of dataset a or totally blank if i remove that datastep.   Is there a way that i can just put PROC SQL delete statement into the stored process script and it will only execute the Delete statement without my ECM redirecting me to anywhere? ... Hi. I am a developer for SAS Enterprise Case Management and i've developed XML for the client to key-in data that has more than 50k thousands of records to insert into INCIDENT_UDF_NUM_VALUE and few thousands to INCIDENT_UDF_CHAR_VALUE. This is the problem, once my client done entering all data into ECM, the save button will take 30mins to run.    What i did was using SQL Profiler to trace what's going on when we click on the Save button. It insert data into ECM DB row by row with SQL Stored procedures. Every stored procedures takes 0.01 seconds to execute and insertion took another 0.01. Hence, every row of insertion takes 0.02 seconds and add them up for 60k records, it will take more than 20mins.   Is there a way for us to optimize this insertion? Understand that ECM is pre-built and cant be customized for this insertion unless there is any other advanced settings that can be done by SAS?   Seeking for your help on this matter. ... View more
