Sureshv: Thank you for this and I used it today. In my search I was surprised that SAS doesn't have a function that would return the decimal precision and that a conversion to text and then a count was required.

Hi. Yes I can, however your post is very poorly written. I wouldn't attach a PowerPoint file that doesn't display anything since the EXCEL (I assume) file is not avaialble to display the data. I assume (again) that you'd like the boxplot to be created in SAS?
