Joyce Weiner has over 25 years of semiconductor industry experience in client computing, fab, and assembly/test manufacturing. She has successfully led projects that leverage AI to assist system designers, to strengthen product quality, and to boost efficiency. Joyce is the author of two books, "Why AI/Data Science Projects Fail: How to avoid project pitfalls" and "XGBoost for Regression Predictive Modeling and Time Series Analysis: Learn how to build, evaluate, and deploy predictive models with expert guidance". Joyce has a BS in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an MS in Optical Sciences from the University of Arizona. She is a lean six sigma black belt. In addition to writing, Joyce enjoys running 5K races, calligraphy, and reading.
