I use SCCM to deploy SAS with a response file and I haven't had an issue like this before. I ran the installer via Software Center and it did perform the installation successfully according to SCCM, but when I attempt to launch it, I get an error message about not finding a tkcal extension, license expiration, and sasxkini phase 3 kernel initiatlization failed. I focused on the line that states "ERROR: The current date of Monday, April 21, 2025 is past the final expiration date for your SAS system, which is Monday, April 3. 2000." I thought this was odd since I have the new SAS license file and I directed the response file to pull it from our server. I checked and the license file does appear to be out of date, so it failed to pull it for some reason. I figured I would just uninstall SAS and then work on the response file some more, then test again. However, I launched the Control Panel to uninstall SAS and never received the splash screen or prompts. I searched online and found that running sasdm.exe could uninstall it, so I found it and launched it. Again, no splash screen or prompts. I'd like to get it uninstalled so that I can try my test SCCM install again. This is intended to be deployed to multiple computers in our environment. I've reviewed the following articles without success: Uninstalling Your SAS Software :: SAS(R) 9.3 Intelligence Platform: Installation and Configuration Guide SAS Support - The procedure for completely uninstalling SAS® software releases 8.2, 9.1.3, 9.2, 9.3, and 9.4 from a Windows operating environment SAS Help Center: Uninstalling Your SAS Software Solved: Unable to Uninstall SAS - SAS Support Communities Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
