I am facing an issue very similar to Scott’s experience, and I am incredibly frustrated. I have missed multiple exam slots and even lost money because of this problem. When I went to the testing center, the lab environment wouldn’t load, and I received an error saying it couldn’t connect to the remote server. Even the staff at the testing center couldn’t resolve the issue after contacting Pearson tech support. I decided to attempt the exam from home, but the same issue occurred—the lab still wouldn’t load on my system. Pearson’s customer support has been unhelpful; they keep asking me to reschedule, but I am not going to waste more time and money on this until there’s confirmation that the system actually works. The testing center in my city is the only one available, and Pearson’s technical support team refuses to speak with me directly. Instead, they insist that only the test center can contact them, which hasn’t led to any resolution. I now have two case numbers from failed attempts, and I’m still no closer to being able to take the exam. How does SAS expect test-takers to get certified when Pearson’s system doesn’t work and their customer service offers no real solutions? If anyone has managed to take the new performance-based exam successfully or knows a way to resolve these issues, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.
