Would like to add that accidental/ unnoticed folder shifts may also present issues in the form of storage capacity or backup deltas if folders are not located in time or are critical to operations and require a restore. In addition to the two suggestions made by @syrovd, Enterprise Guide by default does not move but rather copies which may also be a suitable option in some cases.
