Like Id and Class as grouping variables, or summed (apparently) like Value within the groups?   The question of do you want a report, people read these, or a data set , used for input to analysis or other processing is very critical. One reason is that sort of report is relatively easy, depending on how your 600 variables are to be used, and structures of data sets for further analysis depend on the type of analysis planned.
