Hi: If you are using SAS OnDemand for Academics you will NOT see a "My Folders" top folder. Instead, you will see "Files (Home)" and that is your location in which to write files. If you need to make a sub-folder and your instructions say to make the sub-folder under "My Folders" you would do the same steps (right click on Files (Home) and select New Folder), but you click on Files (Home) instead of My Folders.
