Ah good point. The issue was that I was using the antiquated IHB taking macro referenced in his first paper, but they don’t maintain it anymore. The newest macro can be found out at the link below with a lot of helpful information. The only other structural issue I was having was not including a level for missing data in my control total datasets. So there are missing values in the raw survey data for the variables being adjusted, it’s necessary to include those. Otherwise, my favorite tip I found was making the most important control variable the last variable in the iteration because as the last variable adjusted, there is exact agreement with the control totals. https://www.abtassociates.com/raking-survey-data-aka-sample-balancing
