Hi, I need to use the values of a column in one table as the list in an array. Currently I'm using macro variables to list the values I'm searching for, however one of my lists in in an imported excel doc with this format: diag_cd (string variable) E091 E307 E0072 This is my current code: %let diag_cd0="E099", "E0910"; data notable_dx; set claims; array diabarray {25} $ diag_cd1 - diag_cd25; diab_ind = 0; do i = 1 to 25; if diabarray {i} in: (&diag_cd0.) then diab_ind = 1; end; drop i; run; Is there a way to reference another tables values in the array or a way to transform the values in the first table to a list that looks like the macro variable?

Thank you, this did work however, some members have eligibility that spans multiple years and when the function hits a new year the count resets. Any Idea for how to fix this? Hello, I need to count the months of continuous enrollment per member. When there are gaps in enrollment the count must reset for the member. Here is the data format: memberid enrollment 111 202201 111 202202 111 202205 222 202205 222 202206 Here's the output I'm looking for: memberid enrollment cont_enroll_count 111 202201 2 111 202202 2 111 202205 1 222 202205 2 222 202206 2 Also, if there's another way to do this, please let me know!

There are 4 possible codes a member (24, 25, 26, 27) can have and they can have the same code more than once. Hello, I'm looking to get the last 12 months of data for a list of members. The 12 month lookback period needs to start on the person's date of death for each member. Does any one know how I could do this? Hi! I have 4 data sets, data1-date4. I need a referral_date variable for each data set that corresponds to the dataset name. For instance, in data1 referral_date=January2020 and in data2 referral_date=February2020. I would like to know how to do this in a macro since creating a variable for each dataset individually takes up time and space. Thanks!
