Hi: I would recommend that you save the successful LIBNAME statements into a file called LIBNAME.SAS or MYLIBS.SAS or whatever will be easily remembered. Every time you start a new SAS session and you want to go back to work with the Programming 1 data, you'll need to submit that code to re-establish the connection between SAS and your data. Cynthia
