That's correct. The position value is limited in my heatmap. There's approx. 16 x values and 12 y values so I stretch the chart out. I am using multiple text statements (3). One for the top, one for the middle and the third for the bottom. It looks better when I reduce the font size. I am limited, but is is a great chart. If I could add 2 more variables for example we could really have a stellar strategy chart. Thank you, I look forward to M5.

In general for SAS graphs, the tooltips are from html tags. SAS creates an html page, which displays the image (usually a png) and the html code creates hotspots over the pieces of the graph, and has the tooltips (html hover-text) in html 'alt' or 'title' tags. You can't just save the image - you must have both the image and the html (and view them in a Web browser) to see the tooltips.

What this means is - to align the labels displayed by scatter plot (using your data) with stacked segments of a HBAR (which internally stacks the elements) you will have to preprocess the data to get the segments you want, and position them yourself. Then you can draw them using a HIGHLOW plot. See example here: http://blogs.sas.com/content/graphicallyspeaking/2013/09/20/stacked-bar-chart-with-segment-labels/ If you have SAS 9.40M2, segment labels can be displayed by the HBAR itself, making this easier.

BallardW, that was perfect. Now I can figure out how to make the baselineintercept variable (i.e. 80% of the balance variable). I really appreciate everyone's comments. This is a great community.
