Sorry, it ran, but I am not sure how to interpret the output. I don't think it is comparing the proportions of A and B, but it is comparing A with all the other groups lumped together: This is the code: data sample2; set sample1; if CAT in ('A', ' B') then CAT2=CAT; else CAT2=.; RUN; ods graphics off; proc surveyfreq data=sample2 nomcar; tables CAT2*SEX/col row nostd nowt wchisq chisq; weight WTS_P; run; This is the output: I would like to compare the row percents of A with B, A with C and A with D. This is the table: Is it possible to do these comparisons making sure, as you said before, with the correct standard errors? Thank you for your help

Hello, We are working with survey data and we want to know if the proportions of categories A, B and C are different for dependent variable which is (Y/N). Is there a way to test if the proportions between A and B and A and C are statistically significant? I checked support SAS website and found this: Problem Note 36073: ADJUST=DUNNETT DIFF=CONTROL multiple comparisons may not converge in PROC LIFETEST "The Dunnett-Hsu approximation depends on an iterative algorithm to approximate the covariance matrix. In the k-sample tests scenario, the covariance matrix is singular, which causes problems with the iterative algorithm. To circumvent the problem, use ADJUST=SIMULATE." Should it be ok then to use SIMULATE? Do you recommend any documents that I can look at?

It says the following: WARNING: The ADJUST=DUNNETT p-values and confidence limits cannot be computed because the Dunnett-Hsu approximation did not converge. Try ADJUST=SIMULATE. NOTE: PROCEDURE SURVEYREG used (Total process time): real time 27.27 seconds cpu time 23.83 seconds I used ADJUST= SIMULATE and got this Is SIMULATE the same as DUNNETT? Can I report that p-value and say post-hoc DUNNETT was used?

Hi! Thanks, by adding the parameter=1 it ran. proc transreg details data=sample1 ; model boxcox(NFSDDFI / lambda = -3 to 3 by 0.25 parameter =1) = CLASS(ANIMALCAT); run; I looked in "Details" and this was the output: It recommends lambda=0. I log transformed but it didn't work since I have 11 zeros. Below is the code: DATA sample2; SET sample1; TRANSFI=log(NFSDDFI); RUN; proc glm data=sample2; class ANIMALCAT; model TRANSFI= ANIMALCAT; output out = notrans r= resid; run; symbol1 i=sm70; proc univariate data=notrans noprint; var resid; histogram resid/normal kernel; qqplot resid/normal (mu = est sigma=est); run; I tried using another DV that had no zeros but when I transformed the DV with the recommended lambda the DV was not normalized. Am I reading the output from proc transreg correctly?
