Hi Tom,   I really appreciate your response.  I went with your first suggestion of writing the data to a .txt file.  However, I can only get the JSON engine to parse the file if I create an individual .txt file for each record.  This is not ideal, as my data consists of thousands of records and additional records are added daily.  I can write a macro loop to export a .txt file for each record up to and including &SQLOBS, and then write another loop to parse the files with the JSON engine but I don't really want to create 50,000+ .txt files that are 3 KB each, it doesn't sound ideal as far as processing.  I will continue to research!       ... Working with Json Object from SQL Table

Hello SAS Community,   I was hoping that someone could assist me in working with a json object that is stored as a field in a SQL table.  I can bring in the entire json object with an ODBC connection and the DBMAX_TEXT=32767 option.  I am having a hard time finding documentation on working with a json object that is stored in a SQL table.  I would like to use the json engine to parse the object, but all of the documentation that I'm finding is related to hitting an API directly.  In this case I already have the object in a SQL table; can someone assist me in finding the correct process for this?  I am working in EG 8.1, SAS 9.4M6.   Here is a shortened example of the json object (enclosed in one cell on each row of the table):   {"Id":0,"Token":"TUVWXYZ","LastPage":3,"FirstName":"First,"LastName":"Last","Age":99,"q1":1,"q2":1,"q3":1,"ActionStep":0,"TokenId":0}   Thank you in advance! ... Sorting 40 Date/Disposition Columns Together

Hello SAS Community!  I have a spreadsheet with 80 columns that are date and call disposition combinations.  Basically the data came in from multiple sources, so each row is a mashup of the various data sources.  For each row, there are various sections of these date and call disposition columns that are blank.  The format is Date Column, Disposition Column, Date Column, Disposition Column, etc.  My question is, how can I sort this by date for each row, and keep the disposition column next to the correct date?  Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!   Attached is a sample of the data structure, shortened to 16 date/disposition columns to illustrate the task at hand, thanks! ... Hi Chris,   Yes that is the correct scenario you are describing.  I have SAS/ACCESS to ODBC on my SASApp system, and I want to connect back to a Microsoft Access database file on my local PC.  I appreciate your suggestions and I'm a little frustrated that I'm working in a server multi-verse where they can't all talk to each other directly.  I downloaded your System Command(VB) add-in for EG; I can execute script to see the local directory (C: ) that contains an Access database.  The add-in log shows the file in the local directory correctly, but I haven't ironed out the script to trigger the Access macro.  Do you think it might be possible?  Thank you so much for your advanced insight! ... Hi Chris,   Since I don't have X-CMD access in this system, I wanted to try to execute the stored procedure via the ODBC route you mentioned.  However, will this be possible to execute from EG on a SASApp server, put trigger the local Access database on a windows local connection?  Would you be willing to share the syntax of that, similar to the OLEDB code you so kindly shared? ... Hello community,   I work in EG on a SASapp Server, large data queries off a data warehouse.  I also house additional data sources on servers that are not connected to the SASapp environment.  I have an MS Access database that I export data from SAS into, and the Access database has a macro in it that I want to automate triggering in SAS.  Does anyone have a good resource on triggering an Access macro in SAS code?  I would love to automate this step of a process without going in to Access and clicking run macro, but I just can't figure it out.  Thanks in advance! ... Numeric Format Changing In Macro List

Hello SAS Community,   I have a macro list that contains 14-digit numeric IDs.  When I %put the list in the log I am not seeing the 14-digits, but rather:   NOTE: There were 29 observations read from the data set WORK.BIH. WHERE MemID not in (1.9961106E13, 1.9961109E13, 1.9961109E13, 1.9961109E13, 1.9961109E13, 1.9961109E13, 1.9961109E13,1.9961109E13, 1.9961109E13, 1.9961109E13, 1.9961109E13, 1.996111E13, 1.996111E13, 1.996111E13, 1.996111E13, 1.996111E13,1.9961111E13,1.9961203E13, 1.9961203E13, 1.9961203E13, 1.9961203E13, 1.9961203E13, 1.9961203E13, 1.9961203E13, 1.9961203E13, 1.9961204E13...);   Can anyone advise why SAS is converting the ID to this format?  I need to keep the 14 digit format in the macro list for further linking.  Thanks! ...
