Are these data sets from a local file system, or coming from a SAS library on your server?  Sounds like something else is going on and it might not be the EG application, per se.  However, more details are needed.  You should definitely track this issue with SAS tech support; they can help you collect the proper logs/diagnostics.   If you want to try a rollback, the instructions are in this topic.     ...
