I am Novice SAS user. recently i faced a problem with SAS object spawner, the connection was not established from SAS EG to my UNIX box - where i installed SAS and storing all sas datasets. Here is the error: "Communication error with launch server", i retrieved from Object Spawner log file. Description in SAS site is "This requires Hotfix" and also provided some information, given below the same " If SAS is launched via the Object Spawner, the corresponding error in the spawner log is: ERROR: Communication error with launch server. The problem is that the attempt to launch elssrv is hitting a timeout limit. " At some particular point SAS is encoutoring this. I need to know what and where ?
