We cannot load datasets from Enterprise Guide to LASR. This started after we applied Alert hot fixes. We are getting this error - FAIL = SYSERR=1016 / SYSCC=1016. SYSERR says out of memory. Each SAS session has 6GB. Hi   We are new to this, so we are unsure.   what is the difference between autoload data directories   Lev1/AppData/SASVisualAnalytics/VisualAnalyticsAdministrator/AutoLoad and /Lev1/AppData/SASVisualAnalytics/VisualAnalyticsAdministrator/VALIBLA   In the documentation, it refers to the VALIBLA libref and the /Lev1/AppData/SASVisualAnalytics/VisualAnalyticsAdministrator/VALIBLA directory as a directory that administrators can use.    Should end users be using the autoload process that is associated with directory Lev1/AppData/SASVisualAnalytics/VisualAnalyticsAdministrator/AutoLoad or can they use VALIBLA libref?   Thanks Kathy     ... Hi   This problem has just happened within the past week. This is happening in Enterprise Guide. End users are loading datasets to LASR using the Upload to LASR task.  This seems to have happened after we restarted the server(we had no issues the stopping and starting).   The end users are getting error   ERROR: Unable to connect to Metadata Server. ERROR: Unable to connect to Metadata Server. ERROR: Write access to member TMP00002.DISTINCT_MINOR.DATA is denied.   SAS had us check the connections using SAS Integration Technologies Utility.  Connections to Workspace, Metadata and Object Spawner all worked. We also analyzed the metadata. This error is happening to all end users.   We have read the other posts about this error but we are stuck.   Thanks Kathy ... View more

Hi   I am very new to administering SAS. When mapping metadata folders to a phyiscal directory on the linux server, can the phyiscal directories be anywhere on the server?
