Thank you @Cynthia_sas for point to the thread.   @GFW wrote about assigning shortcuts to  KEYS, which is great but all are working vertically on the dataset. (BACKWARD <n> ,BOTTOM ,FORWARD <n> , TOP)   with that reference,  I assigned RIGHT and LEFT to work horizontally on the dataset.   I see LEFT is working with a Note: At left side but unable to get right working....so that I can see far right/last variable.   like TOP, BOTTOM ...do we have any keywords ..start /end.   Thank you      ... Hi, I am newbie in SAS programming.   after opening the sas dataset in PC SAS/viewer, How would you got the end of the dataset to the final variable quickly (if I have >100 variables (apart from keep/drop)) or  end of the record in that dataset (like Ctrl+end) without dragging the side bar.   thank you, Ram   ...
