yes, I try to export the sas dataset into the  \\shared\dept\reports\cr.csv mentioned path but it ends up in the /opt/sas/lev1/saspp1 . The environment is red hat Linux,I am using E.G on windows os. sorry currently log is not with me but i am sure the file is created in server path(/opt.et..).  so I noticed in the log /opt/sas/Lev1/sasapp1/\\shared\dept\reports\cr.csv created with 2 records. also some message  in the log :NOTE: Unable to open parameter catalog: SASUSER.PARMS.PARMS.SLIST in update mode. thanks, when business users does not need to see the log and check the library is assigned or not. just what ever libs we have give in smc should see in eg and which dont have access should not see the name of the library. If I un-select pre-assign option all the user cant see the libraries , In my case some users need some does not. This is not related to oracle tables . ... View more

If oracle permissions created(new user) for every set of tables then it will be too many users to be on each schema.(for example - each schema having 500 tables, 20 schemas). and every time if we need to add or remove the permissions on the one user then need to ask DBA to grant or remove permissions. is it correct? ... thank you. we need to register all the tables as business user are using the EG so they need to know the what are all the tables are there to explore the data. because some business users need to access all the tables. some of the are dont require to access all the tables in a library (which is configured in sas smc) . I want to know how to restrict in sas smc by table wise in sas smc for some users.   as you mentions by Oracle database permissions can you share some more info if not possible in smc. ... View more
