Hi mkeintz, Some how the Trimleft code yield the only 4 record instead of 8. Can you help to fix it to make SAS keep all original records while computing the sum of only date>=3? Hi, I have 2 datasets: 1st data has id, date and value 2nd data has id, start and end date. I want to find the Max value between start and end date for each ID I know my code below is wrong at the Point=i step but don't know how to fix. Can you please help to fix or suggest solution? Hi Everyone, When I export 2 SAS datasets to Excel, the first one goes fine, then I received the following error when the 2nd file is being exported. The log below I got from my SAS running in batch. Recently, when I manually run the export, sometime SAS automatically shutdown. In these instance, I dont have a log file to see what is going on. Now I have the log. Can you please review and see what can I do to fix? Hi Everyone, I want to calculate a time-weighted average for non-zero series and the procedure is as below: For the data below, For day 4, ID=1: I have 3 non-zero value: 1 1 6 2 1 4 3 1 0 4 1 -7 the average will be: (sumproduct of value and day)/(sum of day) = (1*6 + 2*4 + 4*-7)/(1+2+4) My code below works fine but I know you always have a faster code and I would like to learn about your method.
