Hi:   I wrote a stored process along with SAS code that includes parameters.  It works fine on SAS VA 7.1, but it's not intuitive on what to do when it opens up the page.  Meaning the user has to hover around until the "I" or info window pops up.     I am trying to write some java script that will add the prompts to the report.  It would appear as a form on the page.  I am looked around quite a bit and cannot seem to get the prompt to work.   Does anyone know of any "simple" code that just calls in one prompt to pass to the stored process?  I can go from there, but at the momeny all i can get to work is a button.   Hope that's not too vague.   Thanks,  Dave   ... Hi:   I am trying to develop a graph (in SAS VA 7.1) that has both Month and Week metrics.  We want to be able to see the graph at a monthly view, but then if we click a drop down or button we can change that same view to week.  It would change the category from month to week.   The only way so far that I can figure out how to do this is to use the time metric as a text field and then concatenate the dataset together by stacking month on top of week.  It has a variable called time (month or week).  As you pick it it changes the graph.   The issue (as i am sure you're all aware), is that since it's a text varibable it sorts in alphabetical order.     I can't really use the custom sort since the data changes and there are way more weeks than the custom sort will allow.    Any ideas?  I have been all over this community but have not seen any thing.   thanks,  Dave   ... Hi:   I have a weird situation where i can sort my bar charts by date (ascending) as they should be, and they'll stay that way for a while.   However after some time the order changes (usually alphabetically).  I am using a date field.  The crosstabs will retain the order but the bar charts do not.   Any idea on why this is?  I have to repeatedly go into reports and change the order back.   This also happens with formatted orders.  Meaning if i create custmom format in SAS and custom sort in VA, I'll get eh same issue.       thanks,  dave   ... Hi:   I am using SAS 7.1.  I have a client who wants to see a hierarchy by date across the top but does not want to see every metric under every date.   Example:  YTD and Dollars, would only show up in the total.  Not under every data element.  Is it possible to hide them under the hieracrchy and not the totals?   Been banging my head against the desk.     I attached a screen shot.     thanks,  Dave   ... Hi:   I created 3 drop downs in my report that are dependent on each other through parameters.  The variables are Region, District, and Territory.   So if Region is picked it only shows the Districts for that Region.  Then I pick a district and it only shows me the territoires for that district.    Works great : except, if I pick a region, then a district, then a territory and i "clear" the region it retains the value of district  and territory even though it is not showing. So if i move to the next section the values are off but it doesn' tell me its that district or territory only.   So My quesiton:  is there a way to have it clear the selection of district and territory when I "clear" Region?  At the moment i have to clear each independently which is confusing to other users.   thanks in advance.   Dave ...
