Hi: I will try to do my best to explain what we do....   Firstly, we are using tagset 186 as our production tagset and we are using 9.1 as our production release, although this has been testes on 9.3 successfully. Hi: I have had a similar problem and to resolve it I needed to make some minor changes to the ExcelXP tagset.  Doing this changed the header behaviour so that it was no longer a single, spanned cell in Excel.  Each cell of the output sheet could then be used to position the title.  Using this template, I could specify the cell where I wanted each part of the title to appear - so part could begin in the left column, and then I could specify the second (or more) parts of the titles to start in cells further to the right.  It will not right-align the title, but you can use trial and error to get it in a column that you want.  Only difficulty is that you need to use XML tags to position the titles, but this is not too difficult. What I'm saying is that I have seen some programs where these methods, and more, have been used intentionally to make the programs so complex that only the originator could hope to support them. Are you kidding? Most programmers I know seem to go out of their way to do this.  We call it "job security code" - written so complex that only they can read (and thus- support) it. Multiple macros with the same name in the same program, using format definitions that no on has heard of, run-on lines of code so long they don't fit in a standard editor, writing code to an output file and then including it to execute - I've seen it all and more. Cynthia: Thanks again.    I have been fiddling with my template and I think I have figured out the majority of the changes that I need to make to have my page look almost the same as it was under 9.1. My only problem seems to be on the table cell borders - in 9.1 the border was just a thin black line and I can't figure the options to get it back - it's now gray with a small bit of white space within. Cynthia: Thanks for all the information - I will take some time to read all the documents you referenced. I think my problem is that I can't identify which fonts are being used to create the HTML because no fonts are referenced in my code or in the HTML generated. I'm guessing that my altered template, which uses the MINIMAL template as the parent, is inheriting fonts from that template and this, in part, has changed between releases.  It looks like I will need to look into this template to see which fonts are used. ...
