Hi @PaigeMiller .  For SAS programmers a generation younger than me, "swipe right" means "say yes to", "approve", etc.  It comes from the cell phone dating app world... a world many of us have never known.  : )

 

Troy's talk will be celebrating all that you can do with FCMP, to attempt to convince you that FCMP is a good match for your programming needs.  Or at least that it's worth trying it out for a date or two.

This sound very topical for me as I have been learning/using fcmp for a few use-cases recently.  I'm wondering if this will be available for viewing after the event.

Well @robAs I have to say if you're not wiling to wake up at 0155 for SAS, I question your commitment. : )  I've seen your countrymate @MichelleHomes not only joining the SAS Bowls at a similar hour, but often decked out in SAS swag. 

 

That said, yes, if you're unable to join live, we post BASUG webinar recordings to our website (https://www.basug.org/videos) and a PDF of Troy's slides will be posted to our archives https://www.basug.org/archives.  We try to get them posted within a week after the meeting.

Ah yes, Michelle is quite a late night sas fan for sure. I’ve known her since years ago and enthusiasm is there to see for all.
I shall set a reminder to check for the webinar recording. Perhaps I’ll be more inclined to purchase the upcoming book on fcmp to show my appreciation. Late nights may not be my thing as they would interfere with my early morning starts (when Michelle is no doubt tucked up in bed 😜).

I’ve long felt that it would be great to see more examples out there on Proc fcmp use cases. Once I see how others do it I may get more ideas for my own efforts.

I'll have you know, I go for a run each day at 4:30am. Maybe you are confusing me with Paul 🤣
