Tech tips with Chris

I recently had the pleasure of attending the annual "SAS Blowout" hosted by the Boston SAS Users Group—a day packed with sharp technical presentations and lively networking. We wrapped up with a panel discussion that posed a fun question: What’s your favorite underrated or underutilized SAS feature? The answers were as varied as the attendees: PROC DELETE (yes, it's real now), PROC SQL, PROC UNIVARIATE, and my personal favorite—PROC HTTP.

We also talked about features that might be a bit overhyped. SAS macro topped that list—not because it's not powerful (it absolutely is), but because too many folks reach for it when a simpler, more straightforward program would do the trick.

SAS offers a rich pantry of ingredients for building your analytics recipe. Everyone has their own favorite flavors. So, I'll ask you: What’s your favorite underdog SAS feature? Let me know with a message!
