Hello, I need to analyse data about the learning proces on motivation of students. The data consist of scores on 4 axis of motivation (intrinsic motivation, internalised regulation, external regulation and amotivation), student id and school. The motivation scores were measures at three points in time in the learning proces. Part of the learningproces is going throug a manual of the topic. The manual is ordered from simple topics to harder topics (39 topics). The students can choose how they go throug the manual (f.i. topic 5->topic11->topic7->topic5 again->...). I should link the motivation data with the "route" the students take throug the manual. Could I apply some sort of trajectory analysis?
I'm only aware of this type of analysis because I am going to have to use it in an upcoming project. You might want to take a look at this (some examples of using PROC TRAJ): https://open.library.ubc.ca/media/stream/pdf/52383/1.0048205/1
Good luck.
ANOVA, or Analysis Of Variance, is used to compare the averages or means of two or more populations to better understand how they differ. Watch this tutorial for more.
