dear all members

i want to solve the problem of ordered categorical and discrete data by using normal dist. family like log-normal , inverse normal. my question are these distributions have same properties of truncated normal dist. because i want to estimate the thresholds under normal curve so i want to divide the normal curve by using inverse normal or lognormal.

thanks to all in advance

best regards

thanoon
