I am looking to do an exposure response analysis. The drug exposure readings are collected at weeks 0, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30. I want to relate this to binary outcomes (eg cardiovascular event yes_no). What would be the best way to analyse this - proc glimmix? Any help greatly appreciated.
Most likely either PROC GLIMMIX or PROC GEE. Use GLIMMIX if you want to fit a subject-specific, random effects logistic model for making inferences or predictions at the individual level. Use GEE to fit a population-averaged, generalized estimating equations logistic model for making inferences at the population level. Yet another possibility is a conditional logistic model using stratification available in PROC LOGISTIC (also a subject-specific model). You can find examples of all in the respective procedure documentation.
ANOVA, or Analysis Of Variance, is used to compare the averages or means of two or more populations to better understand how they differ. Watch this tutorial for more.
