Hello guys;

 

Does anybody know if we can use dummy dependent variables in the left side of model in PROC VARCOMP? I know that independent variables can't be continuous, but how about dependent variables, can they be dummy?

I'm going to say NO you can't do that. VARCOMP requires (as far as I know) a continuous response variable. Nevertheless, you should check the documentation.
