Nearest Neighbor - Maybe??

I have a subject school in a dataset - I want to find similar schools to the subject school (say k=30) based on a few attributes (some categorical others continuous). What statistical procedure or equation could I apply in sas to return a best fit sample of schools from the dataset that most closely resemble the subject school.
