Hello -

I have a question about multiple comparisons in repeated measures. Specifically, I wanted to ask if in the example from the SAS documentation (see below) p-values are already adjusted for multiple comparisons, or if I need to apply adjustments myself (e.g., Bonferroni)?

proc mixed data=formixed;
      class Person Gender age;
      model y = Gender Age Gender*Age;
      repeated Age / type=un subject=Person;
      lsmeans Gender / pdiff;
      slice Gender*Age / sliceby=Age;
      slice Gender*Age / sliceby=Gender diff;
      run;

You need to request adjustment using the ADJUST option. Note that the adjustments are for the set of comparisons within a slice, and not for the full set of comparisons reported in the "Simple Differences" table.

What is ANOVA?

ANOVA, or Analysis Of Variance, is used to compare the averages or means of two or more populations to better understand how they differ. Watch this tutorial for more.
