Multiple comparison while randomly removing replications

I was wanting to see if I can reduce the number of replications in my experiment from 6 to 4 by removing every possible combination of two replications (to eliminate any field effects) and comparing the means to see if it will significantly alter the results vs 6 reps. What would be the best way to go about this?
