Hello,

I wrote a paper examining the trajectory of cognitive performance across eight days, with multiple administrations of the cognitive tests per day, per person. Thus, the design is multilevel, with performance nested within persons. There are 17 cognitive variables. A reviewer asked me to conduct a factor analysis to extract major cognitive dimensions from the 17. I am not sure how to run a multilevel factor analysis. Could someone assist?

Thanks!

Firstly, I did Google this topic, and that article you mentioned did not come up in any of the first five pages of my results. Secondly, this article is not helpful because I do not know what variable names were used in their dataset, and I do not know where to plug in my own variable names.
