Long time to execute

Whenever I am doing PROC GLM or PROC freq sometimes it is taking extremely long time and is not giving output where as data size very small (total 3 var 6 observation). I have to cancel the submitted statement using BREAK.What can be the problem and what is the solution? Pl Help.

I think you need to use the RUN; statement. GLM may also like a QUIT.
