I'd like a check box or some type of toggle option in the slider object itself that allows end users to select "missing values."

I've noticed when I use slider filters, like for a date filter, if the row of data has date = NULL, then the slider actually filters those out.  I'd like the option to use the slider for dates or other measures, while still allowing "missing values" to be shown if a user chooses to.

In addition to this, on the designer side, it would be nice to have the option to show or hide this toggle option to an end user.  That way if I don't want the missings to be selected by an end user at all, I can hide that option from the user entirely.

Thanks for your idea! In VA 8.4+, report viewers can select missing values for a filter of an individual object from the right-hand pane. See this example:

See Viewer Customizations documentation for authors and consumers. (If you're interested in viewer customizations, check out what all you can do with VA apps.)

We're considering some capabilities of the filter pane into the slider itself.
